L.A. LIVE

L.A. LIVE Sports and Entertainment District is officially open in Downtown Los Angeles - New restaurants, Club NOKIA, ESPN Zone, the legendary Conga Room, Regal Cinemas and Lucky Strike Lanes are all open at L.A. LIVE. Club NOKIA, a 59,000-square-foot venue, is projected to host up to 150 events with a capacity of 2,300 guests. The legendary Conga Room has relocated to L.A. LIVE and Lucky Strike Lanes is open with 18 lanes, plus billiards, darts and private function rooms. L.A. LIVE is Downtown's 27-acre entertainment, sports and residential district, anchored by the NOKIA Theatre L.A. LIVE, STAPLES Center and the Los Angeles Convention Center. With more music per square foot than any place in the United States, L.A. LIVE now reigns as the leading entertainment destination for all of Los Angeles.

All of this is just steps from the Los Angeles Convention Center … if you haven't heard the buzz, L.A. LIVE It is the sports and entertainment district adjacent to STAPLES Center (The world's most successful arena and home to Los Angeles' Kings, Lakers, Clippers, and Sparks) and Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE. The campus features sports and music venues, night clubs, restaurants, a bowling alley, museum and movie theaters. L.A. LIVE is Downtown and is the premier destination for live entertainment. Hollywood & Highland
Basking in the shadow of the famed Hollywood Sign and Walk of Fame, the Hollywood & Highland Center is right in the heart of all the action. This entertainment mecca sits next door to Madame Tussauds and just opposite the Disney’s El Capitan Theatre and the Jimmy Kimmel Live show and is home to the renowned Kodak Theatre, Renaissance Hollywood Hotel & Spa, Grauman’s Chinese Theatre, The Highlands Hollywood nightclub, H.Wood Nightclub, Lucky Strikes Lanes, Spa Luce, popular shops, gourmet and casual dining along with endless entertainment. Universal Studios Hollywood ~ Experience the new Simpsons Ride
It's difficult to visit Los Angeles without a experiencing the iconic Universal Studios Hollywood, one of the city’s most popular tourist attractions. After all, the theme park offers the best of LA: movies, sunshine and a boat load of entertainment options. Besides the FAMOUS tram tour, other highlights make the park a huge destination. Expect to spend a full day here -There’s a ton to do, even if you’re not counting the park’s vast collection of attractions, which include live shows like "Fear Factor" and "Creature from the Black Lagoon". Madame Tussauds Hollywood
LA visitors no longer have to go home without seeing a celebrity up close and personal. That’s because, after several years of planning and $55 million, Madame Tussauds has finally come to Hollywood. Rest assured, this isn’t your grandparents’ museum where the figures look like stiffs — Madame Tussauds’ staff has perfected the art of bringing celebrities to life, and now you’ll get a chance to walk the red carpet with the stars, pose with them for pictures and even give an awards speech with Oscar®-winner Halle Berry. Beyoncé Knowles and Jamie Foxx were among the first of more than 100 celebrity wax figures created for Madame Tussauds Hollywood. These two figures, which cost about $300,000 each to make, have joined other stars like Jennifer Lopez, Britney Spears, Bruce Willis, David Beckham, James Dean and Charlie Chaplin at the biggest new LA attraction to open in 2009. The attraction features three floors and 18 themed zones — too many to talk about here, which means you’ll just have to visit and experience it.
