Is E3 2012 open to the general public?

E3 is a professional trade event and is not open to the general public. Individuals who are not able to document their direct and current professional affiliation to the interactive entertainment industry are not qualified to attend.

What are the requirements for applying for a free exhibit pass as a member of the interactive entertainment industry?

I have attended E3 previously. Do I still need to submit proof that I am a member of the industry?

Yes. Prior attendance at E3 does not automatically qualify you for admission. Current industry credentials must be submitted.

Where/how do I submit my industry credentials?

After completing your online registration request, you will receive an email with instructions for submitting your business credentials. Your two forms of industry ID should be faxed to 866-581-0214. Please include your full name, your registration number, and your email address on all documentation.

How will I know if my request for free registration as a member of the industry has been approved?

You will receive an email confirming or denying your registration request approximately two weeks after the E3 2012 Registration Team receives your required industry credentials.

I didn’t receive a confirmation. Am I registered?

If you completed your online registration and do not receive notification via email two weeks following faxing your documents, please contact the E3 Registration Customer Service team at 877-216-6263. For calls outside the U.S. please dial 708-486-0718. Customer Service hours of operation are 8:30 am to 5:00 pm CST. The Registration Customer Service team can also be contacted at E3@compusystems.com.

I work in the industry but I missed the April 23rd deadline for free show floor admission. Can I still attend?

Yes. Registration will be available online and on-site at the Los Angeles Convention Center (LACC) through show dates. The admission charge after April 23, 2012, is $995 for a three-day show floor pass.

An E3 exhibitor has issued me an Industry Affiliate Pass email asking me to visit their booth at the show. Do I still need to submit industry ID?

Yes, you will still need to submit credentials to confirm your direct professional affiliation to the interactive entertainment industry. Registering with an Industry Affiliate Pass should be completed online via the link provided in the exhibitor's email. If you are unable to register online prior to April 23, 2012, please print your email and bring your industry credentials on-site to Industry Affiliate Pass Registration located in the South Hall Lobby of the Los Angeles Convention Center. If you do not provide documentation confirming that you are a member of the industry, payment will be required.

How can I receive a Visa letter?

Attendee Visa letters are distributed through our registration system. In order to receive a Visa letter, you will need to complete the entire registration process. All international registrants will be asked if they require a Visa letter when completing the online registration form. A Visa letter will be automatically emailed to all international guests when their registration is confirmed.

I have pre-registered. Will I receive my badge in the mail?

In early May, badges will begin to be mailed to all U.S. attendees who are registered and confirmed by April 23, 2012. All attendees are required to pick up their badge holders on-site.

If you are registered and confirmed after April 23, 2012, your badge and badge holder will be available for pickup on-site at Attendee Will-Call located in the South Hall Lobby of the Los Angeles Convention Center.

I reside outside of the U.S., will I receive my badge in the mail?

No, badges will NOT be mailed to attendees residing outside of the U.S. International attendees (including Canada) can pick up their badge and badge holder at the International Registration counter located in the South Hall Lobby of the Los Angeles Convention Center. Translation services will be also available. All attendees must present a valid government issued photo ID (driver’s license or passport) when picking up their badge/badge holder.

My address has changed since I registered online. How do I get my badge mailed to my new address?

Please contact the Registration Customer Service team at 877-216-6263 or E3@compusystems.com to update your address information.

If you registered through the E3 ALUMNI email, edits to contact information will not be permitted and a new 2012 online registration must be completed. Current industry credentials must also be submitted.

Where can I pick-up my badge holder?

All attendees must pick up their badge holders on-site at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Badge Holder Pick-up Counters will open on June 3rd at 1:00 pm and will be located outside both the South and West Hall Lobbies. All attendees must present a valid government issued photo ID (driver’s license or passport) when picking up their badge/badge holder.

On-site Registration counters are located in the South Hall Lobby of the Los Angeles Convention Center. Badge Holder Pick-up counters are located outside of both the South and West Hall Lobbies.

What is the cancellation policy?

All registration fees are non-refundable and registrations are non-transferable.

Are there age restrictions for E3 2012?

Yes, individuals under the age of 17 including infants will not be admitted to E3.
